With Ramadan ending, Byrathi distributes chicken in KR Puram

The scare of the coronavirus can keep ordinary citizens indoors, but it cannot keep hard-core politicos away from their votebanks!
This very ‘desi’ phenomenon was on full display on Thursday at KR Puram as BJP MLA and Urban Development Minister Basavaraj Byrathi went around distributing live chicken to members of the minority community.
A party-hopper, Byrathi may have forgotten his former party, the Congress, but not his minority community votebank. He found the perfect occasion for his show of largesse as the month of Ramadan comes to an end and Muslims end a time of fasting.
Not to delegate the task to his staff, the minister personally went around distributing chicken and other required groceries.
