Minister seeks probe into Covid deaths in Rajajinagar hospital

Taken aback by the high Covid mortality rate at the  Rajajinagar ESI hospital, where 54 out of 421 cases or 12.8%,  have died so far, Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar on Saturday ordered the formation of a committee to ascertain the cause of death of these patients.

Later,  he said, “The ESI hospital has 494 beds and 150 beds are reserved for Covid patients. The condition of two patients is serious. 10 patients in the ICU are recovering.
