Bengaluru: Yellow warnings for thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds cover North and South Interior Karnataka on October 27 and 28 in the India Meteorological Department chart shared by the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) on Monday.
The chart, issued on October 26 and covering the seven days through November 1, shows no warning for Coastal Karnataka throughout the period. It also shows no warning for the interior subdivisions on October 26 and from October 29 to November 1.

In its broader seven-day outlook, KSNDMC said sunny conditions and mostly dry weather were likely across much of Karnataka, with maximum temperatures possibly above normal. Isolated light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds was possible in the southern interior, coastal areas and the Malnad region.
Its forecast for October 26 also indicated less rain activity in the northern interior, where sunny and hot conditions were expected to continue. Morning chill and fog were possible in several parts of the state.
