Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and leader of the opposition Siddaramaiah are improving and are expected to be discharged soon from Manipal Hospital.
At a presser on Thursday, Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar said, “The team of expert doctors are taking care of both the Chief Minister and the opposition leader and their health has shown improvement. They will be discharged soon.”
Meanwhile, hospital director Dr. Manish Rai was quoted by the hospital’s health bulletin as saying, “Shri BS Yediyurappa, the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, who was admitted to Manipal Hospital on 2nd August, continues to be clinically stable and is responding well to treatment. He is cheerful and continues to attend to his activities from his room. The team of clinical experts are monitoring him closely.”
