CM D.K. Shivakumar Meets President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan in New Delhi
New Delhi/Bengaluru, June 12: Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Friday paid a courtesy visit to President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi and held discussions on matters of mutual interest.
The meeting formed part of the Chief Minister’s official visit to the national capital, during which he has been meeting senior Union ministers and constitutional authorities to discuss issues related to Karnataka’s development, infrastructure, irrigation, urban growth and governance.
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar exchanged views with the President and briefed her on various initiatives being undertaken by the Karnataka Government for the state’s development and public welfare.

Later in the day, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar also paid a courtesy visit to Vice President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan at his official residence in New Delhi.
During the meeting, the two leaders held discussions on a range of issues concerning governance, public administration and developmental priorities.
The Chief Minister’s meetings with the President and Vice President came as part of his ongoing engagements in New Delhi, where he has been seeking support from the Union Government for several key projects relating to infrastructure, irrigation, urban mobility, policing reforms and economic development in Karnataka.
The meetings were described as cordial and constructive, reflecting continued cooperation between constitutional institutions and the Karnataka Government on matters of public interest and national development.
