Karnataka Postal Circle Provides Doorstep Aadhaar Update Service to 87-Year-Old Woman in Altadi Village
Bengaluru: Karnataka Postal Circle provided a doorstep Aadhaar update service to 87-year-old Juliana Pinto, a resident of Bambila in Altadi village, after her age, mobility difficulties and lack of proper road connectivity made it difficult for her to visit a post office.
In a post on X, Karnataka Postal Circle said Pinto has difficulty walking due to her advanced age. The hilly terrain in the area and absence of proper road connectivity also prevented her from visiting a post office for the Aadhaar update.
The postal service therefore provided the Aadhaar update facility at her doorstep, enabling her to complete the process without travelling to a post office.
