In a significant move to bolster healthcare in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) alongside the existing Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana (GJAY) on April 1. The schemes are set to impact 3.52 crore residents across the state. The extensive rollout will be held at all 1,438 primary health centres, underlining Odisha’s commitment to universal health coverage.
