Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday detailed the E-Khata campaign, underscoring the government’s strides in providing benefits under the new law while addressing tax compliance issues. ‘A committee led by Eshwar Khandre formulated recommendations which led to legislation. We’ve expanded revenue and site houses, yet taxes remain unpaid. Hence, a B-Khata campaign will commence,’ Siddaramaiah announced.
