Bengaluru: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) will hold an e-Khata Open House at 62 Assistant Revenue Officer (ARO) offices across its five city corporations on November 7, Special Commissioner Munish Moudgil said.
Officials have been directed to resolve pending e-Khata applications on the spot. The initiative is intended to make e-Khata services more accessible and convenient for residents, he said.
Surprise inspections planned
Commissioners, joint commissioners, deputy commissioners and revenue officers of the city corporations have been instructed to coordinate surprise inspections at different ARO offices to monitor the Open House.
Moudgil said he would also make surprise visits to various offices. The teams have been told to remain in continuous coordination and take necessary steps to address problems arising during the programme.
Officials have been instructed to treat the initiative as a priority and an important responsibility. Moudgil warned that disciplinary action would be initiated against AROs and other officials found negligent in carrying out their duties.
