President Tayyip Erdogan declared on Wednesday that Turkey views Ukraine’s acceptance of a 30-day ceasefire with Russia as a positive step, following discussions with U.S. officials earlier this week. Erdogan expressed hope that Russia would reciprocate and embrace peace efforts.
