Diganth is part of Bengaluru-based RRMC (Riders Republic Motorcycle Club), which delivers life-saving drugs and other essentials within Karnataka and even beyond. Its work is coordinated by Bengaluru North-East DCP Dr Bheemashankar S Guled.

Speaking to thebengalurulive, DCP Guled said, “Actor Diganth has gone to Kodagu to deliver medicine along with another biker. The patient was suffering from a liver problem and required a hepatitis B drug. They will deliver the medicine and be back today itself.

“We have started our own helpline —   080-42240048/ 49777888. It should be an essential and life-saving medicine. We check first with district headquarters about the medicine’s availability, and if  relatives of the patient give it to us, we transport it.”

He added, “The biker team bears all the travel expenses and delivers the medicines free of cost. So far, medicines have been delivered to Bellary, Raichur, Tumkur, Mysuru, Shivamogga, Mandya, Hosur, Chennai and Kerala.”
