BENGALURU: An autorickshaw driver harassed a woman who was driving her car on Bellanduru Main Road in a road rage incident. The auto driver, who had an altercation with the woman, smashed the car’s rear view mirror. The woman, frightened by the auto driver’s behaviour, dialed the police emergency helpline for assistance.
The conversation between the woman and the police was captured on a dashcam. She complained that an autorickshaw driver harassed her when she was driving, broke the rearview mirror, frequently honked and hit the car.
She said was scared by his behaviour and requested the traffic police to send someone to help her. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Bellandur police station. It was not immediately known if the traffic police had tracked down the errant autorickshaw driver.
