Bengaluru University’s Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), established in 1917, is a pioneering institute of technical education leading to B.Tech, B. Arch, M.Tech, M. Arch and PhD degrees in various disciplines of engineering and architecture.

It is now proposed to develop UVCE as an autonomous institution on the lines of Indian Institute of Technology. In this regard, infrastructural development work is being undertaken. Its alumni have appealed for contributions for the development of UVCE as a model engineering college.

As per the management, contributions may be made to ‘UVCE Infrastructure Development Fund’. The account number and other details will shortly be notified in the university website: http://www.bangaloreuniversity.ac.in
