CHITRADURGA: Revenue Department Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar Kataria’s car hit a motorcycle rider near Malladihalli Cross in Holalkere taluk on Wednesday night, leading to his death.
The victim died enroute to hospital.
Basavarajappa (68), the motorcycle rider, was seriously injured in the accident and died enroute to a hospital in Shivamogga. He was a resident of Kunagali village.
The officer was travelling along with Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda while his car was tailing them. A case has been registered against the car driver Dhanush.
