Bengaluru: Urban Development Minister Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah said on Wednesday that steps will be taken to implement, at the earliest, an ambitious plan to build a new township on about 850 acres within the Chintamani Urban Development Authority limits, for the comprehensive and sustainable development of Chintamani town.
Speaking after a meeting with senior officials at his home office on the proposed township, he said the survey of the land required for the project has already been completed and the project has been given its final shape.
