TV, cinema artistes plead for resumption of shooting
BENGALURU:
Veteran artistes from Kannada cinema and television have appealed to Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan to allow shooting to resume as the industry is facing a financial crisis.
On Wednesday, senior artistes including Dingri Nagaraj, Lakshmi Devamma, B.L. Manjula, Ganesh Rao, Bangalore Nagesh and Shobha Raghavendra met Dr Narayan in this regard.
The DCM promised to discuss the issue with Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
