The European Union is striking back with new tariffs on US exports in response to the Trump administration’s decision to increase duties on steel and aluminum imports, which stand at 25%. The EU tariffs, announced just hours after the US measures, target American industrial and farm products, valued at some 26 billion euros ($28 billion).
