St Joseph's School Student P. Abhay Surya Wins Four Gold Medals at Karnataka State Shooting Championship
Bengaluru, June 30: P. Abhay Surya, a Class 10 student of St Joseph’s School, has won four gold medals at the Karnataka State Shooting Championship held in Bengaluru.
Abhay Surya achieved the feat in the 10-metre Open Air Sight Rifle event, securing top honours across multiple categories.
He clinched gold medals in the Men’s, Men’s Junior, Youth, and Men’s Sub-Youth categories, emerging as one of the standout performers at the state-level championship.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Urban Development Minister Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah congratulated Abhay Surya on his achievement and extended their best wishes for his future sporting career.
Abhay Surya is the son of K.V. Prabhakar, Media Adviser to former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and Meera.
The young shooter’s performance has been widely appreciated and is expected to inspire aspiring sportspersons across Karnataka.
