NEW DELHI: Bombings were carried out on 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir between 1:05 am and 1:30 am as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Approximately 100 terrorists were killed in the operation.
Indian Army officials, including women officers, provided detailed information about the air strikes during an urgent press conference held in New Delhi.
Colonel Sophia Qureshi, speaking at the press conference, explained that the operation, named Operation Sindoor, was launched between 1:05 am and 1:30 am to seek justice for the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and their families. The targeted terrorist camps were successfully destroyed, with careful consideration given to avoid damage to civilian infrastructure and prevent any loss of civilian lives.
