Army’s Surgical Strikes on Terror Camps in PoK and Pakistan Praised by CM Siddaramaiah

BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah praised the Indian Army for its precise strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and deep inside Pakistani territory. He described the operation as a significant blow to cross-border terrorism and assured Karnataka’s full support for the central government’s actions.

Key Points from CM’s Statement:

Bravery of Indian Army: Siddaramaiah applauded the armed forces for their successful attacks on terror camps in both PoK and Pakistan. He highlighted the exceptional courage displayed by our soldiers in targeting terror hubs within enemy territory.

Zero Tolerance for Terrorism: The Chief Minister stated that India would never compromise on security. Given Pakistan’s ongoing support for militants, these strikes were necessary. Siddaramaiah emphasized that India’s response to such threats would be strong and unwavering.

Precision and Success of the Operation: The surgical strikes, carried out under Operation Sindhu, reportedly eliminated multiple terror launch pads while minimizing civilian casualties. The Chief Minister praised our forces for flawlessly executing the mission and focusing solely on terrorists.

Pakistan’s Involvement in Pahalgam Attack: Siddaramaiah condemned Pakistan’s role in the recent Pahalgam massacre, which resulted in the deaths of 26 innocent individuals. He reiterated that Pakistan’s harboring of terrorists was well-known, justifying India’s retaliatory strikes.

Karnataka’s Preparedness: The state government is working closely with the Centre to enhance security measures. Siddaramaiah assured the public that Karnataka is on high alert and urged citizens to remain calm.

Unity Over Protests: In a show of solidarity with the national security operation, a planned protest in Raichur was canceled.

Warning to Hostile Nations: The Chief Minister stressed that the strikes served as a stern warning not only to Pakistan but to any nation supporting terrorism against India.

Siddaramaiah has reiterated his government’s unwavering support for the Centre’s decision, emphasizing the importance of national unity. He stressed that now is not the time for political divisions, but for coming together as one nation.
