Bengaluru: Union minister Pralhad Joshi said he launched the website and registration portal for the Seva First Innovation Challenge at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru.
In a post on X, Joshi said he addressed students, young innovators, faculty members, startups and industry representatives at the event. He called for innovation directed at practical solutions to real-world challenges.
Joshi cited the government’s efforts to build an innovation ecosystem through more than 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs, more than 17,300 Institutions Innovation Councils and initiatives including the Smart India Hackathon. He urged startups and industry partners to mentor young innovators and help promising prototypes become usable solutions.
