Public event after virus threat ends: HDK
RAMANAGARA:
The wedding ceremony of actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of former chief minister HD D Kumaraswamy, will be held on April 17 as previously announced.
Speaking to the media in Ramanagara, the former CM said the marriage would take place in the presence of members of the family. He said once the Covid-19 threat was over, “we will be hosting a event in Ramanagara for the public after checking the right time.”
The engagement of Nikhil and Revathi took place a few months ago. The family had decided to celebrate Nikhil’s wedding in Kumaraswamy’s Chennapatna constituency. Nikhil’s mother Anita Kumaraswamy had performed a ‘pooja’ at the place where her son’s wedding was supposed to be held. It is said that about eight lakh invitations were had been printed.
