Mauritius is set to receive a new parliament building as a gesture from India, thanks to an announcement by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The project, which is being hailed as a ‘gift to Mauritius from the Mother of Democracy,’ aims to replace the current 200-year-old structure in Port Louis.
