Karnataka govt issues wide-ranging IAS transfers

BENGALURU:

After shunting out IAS officers Dr KV Thrilok Chandra and Dr J Ravishankar from Health and Medical Welfare, and Medical Education, the state government has posted D Randeep, IAS (KN:2006) and Naveen Raj Singh, IAS (KN: 1998) to the respective posts.

Naveen Raj Singh is posted until further orders as Secretary to the Government, Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education), and also placed in concurrent charge in the post of Regional Commissioner, Bengaluru Division, Bengaluru, until further orders.

D Randeep, who was working as Special Commissioner (Health & IT), Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Commissioner, Health & Family Welfare and Ayush Services, in place of Dr KV Thrilok Chandra.

Randeep has done a commendable job of handling Bengaluru’s garbage problem successfully for the last couple of years and has worked with three BBMP Commissioners. He was till now looking after Bengaluru’s Covid-19 related issues.

Other transfers

In other transfers, BH Anil Kumar, IAS (KN:1987), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Department of Public Enterprises, has been placed in concurrent charge as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Infrastructure Development Department, Bengaluru, with immediate effect in place of Kapil Mohan.

Kapil Mohan, IAS (KN: 1990), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Infrastructure Development Department, has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and Legal Metrology Department, Bengaluru, relieving BH Anil Kumar, IAS, from concurrent charge.

Karnataka govt issues wide-ranging IAS transfers

SR Umashankar, IAS (KN:1993), Principal Secretary to Government, Education Department (Primary and Secondary Education), has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Principal Secretary to Government, Co-Operation Department, Bengaluru, relieving Dr Selvakumar S, IAS, from concurrent charge.

Dr Selvakumar S, IAS (KN:1997), Secretary to Government, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Secretary to Government, Education Department (Primary and Secondary Education), Bengaluru, in place of SR Umashankar, IAS, who is transferred. Dr Selvakumar has also been placed in concurrent charge as Secretary to Government, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Bengaluru, until further orders.

KP Mohan Raj, IAS (KN: 2007), who was waiting for a posting, is posted with immediate effect as Managing Director, Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, Bengaluru, in the existing vacancy.

BB Cauvery, IAS (KN: 2008), Director of Municipal Administration, Bengaluru, has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Managing Director, Karnataka State Mineral Corporation Limited, Bengaluru, in place of Shivananda Kapashi, IAS, who is transferred.

THM Kumar, IAS (KN: 2008), who was waiting for a posting, has been posted with immediate effect as Commissioner for Textile Development & Director of Handlooms and Textiles, Bengaluru, in placeof Upendra Pratap Singh, IAS, who has been transferred.

THM Kumar is also placed in concurrent charge as Managing Director, Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation, Bengaluru, in place of M Kanaga Valli, IAS, who is transferred.

Priyanka Mary Francis, IAS (KN:2009), is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Director, Women and Child Development Department, with immediate effect and until further orders vice Dr.K.N.Anuradha, IAS, transferred.

Karnataka govt issues wide-ranging IAS transfers

M Kanaga Valli, IAS (KN:2010), Managing Director, Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Director, Integrated Child Protection Scheme, Bengaluru, vice Pallavi Akurathi, IAS, transferred.

The order of posting Dr V Ram Prasath Manohar, IAS (KN:2010), Managing Director, Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, Bengaluru, vide notification No.e-DPAR 425 SAS 2021, dated: 14.09.202, to the post of Special commissioner (Revenue), Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, is partially modified and he is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Director, Mines and Geology Department, Bengaluru, relieving P.N.Ravindra, IAS, from concurrent charge.

R Venkatesh Kumar, IAS (KN:2010), Commissioner, Youth Empowerment & Sports Department, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Secretary, Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board, Kalaburagi.

Charulatha Somal, IAS (KN: 2012), Deputy Commissioner, Kodagu District, Madikeri, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Deputy Commissioner, Raichur District, Raichur in place of Dr BC Sateesha, IAS, who is transferred.

Shilpa Nag CL, IAS (KN:2014), Director (e-Governance), Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru, is placed in concurrent charge as Commissioner for Panchayat Raj, Bengaluru, with immediate effect, relieving Priyanka Mary Francis, IAS, from concurrent charge.

K Lakshmi Priya, IAS (KN:2015), who was waiting for a posting, is posted with immediate effect as Director, Abdul Nazir Sab State Institute of Rural Development, Mysuru, in place of KM Gayathri, IAS, who is transferred.

Bhoyar Harshal Narayanrao, IAS (KN:2016), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Chamarajanagar district, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Vijayanagara district, relieving Anirudh Sravan P, IAS from concurrent charge.

Ukesh Kumar, IAS (KN:2018), Assistant Commissioner, Chikkodi Sub-Division, Chikkodi, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Kolar district, in place of NM Nagaraja, IAS, who is transferred.

Dr B C Sateesha, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Raichur district, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Deputy Commissioner, Kodagu District, Madikeri, vice Charulatha Somal, IAS, transferred.

Dr HN Gopala Krishna, IAS, Managing Director, Karnataka Public Lands Corporation Ltd., Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Commissioner, Youth Empowerment & Sports Department, Bengaluru, vice R Venkatesh Kumar, IAS, who is transferred. Dr H N Gopala Krishna is also placed in concurrent charge as Managing Director, Karnataka Public Lands Corporation Ltd, Bengaluru.

Shivananda Kapashi, IAS, Managing Director, Karnataka State Mineral Corporation Limited, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Managing Director, Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Bengaluru.

MS Archana, IAS, Member, Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Director of Municipal Administration, Bengaluru, vice BB Cauvery, IAS, who is transferred.

KM Gayathri, IAS, Director, Abdul Nazir Sab State Institute of Rural Development, Mysuru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Chamarajanagar District, vice Bhoyar Harshal Narayanrao, IAS, who is transferred.

Dr KN Anuradha, IAS, Director, Women and Child Development Department, Bengaluru is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Managing Director, Karnataka Silk Marketing Board Ltd, relieving Peddappaiah RS, IAS, from concurrent charge.

NM Nagaraja, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Kolar district, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.
