Cop self-isolates after driver tests positive
CHAMARAJANAGAR:
In a shocker for the district, Superintendent of Police H D Anand Kumar has gone into self-quarantine after his driver was one of 21 persons who tested positive on Wednesday.
The district was quiet for a long time but has recently seen a spike in cases, taking its tally to 54, of which 53 are active.
As per sources, the infected cases include an accounts officer and a cashier of the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Company.
