Boat capsized in Mangalore, one fisherman missing, four rescued

One fisherman is missing while four others were rescued after a gillnet boat capsized due to strong winds off the Panambur coast on Saturday morning.

Coast guard officials said that the missing fisherman has been identified as Sharief of Kasba Bengre. Others namely Azeez, Imtiyaz, Sinan, and Fairoz of Bengre have been rescued by locals.

The boat owned by Azar had ventured into fishing this morning when it met with a mishap. Search is on for the missing fisherman.
