I will not send my children to school at this time, says Hassan MLA Preetham Gowda
HASSAN:
Even as the BJP government in the state is mulling reopening of schools and colleges after October 15, its own party MLA from Hassan has categorically given a thumbs-down to the reopening proposal.
Speaking to the media here, Preetham Gowda said, “I as a father will not send my children to school in this situation. I have two children and am saying this as a parent. If the government takes any decision on reopening of schools, I shall convey my stand on the matter.”
To make his stand even clearer, he said, “As a parent, I will not send my two children to school. As a legislator, I will listen to the government. But I also have a family. First comes family, then comes politics. If there is life, there will be livelihood.”
