BBMP shuts down Russel Market
BENGALURU:
BBMP has ordered closure of the famous Russel Market in Shivaji Nagar temporarily as shopkeepers there were not following the social distancing rule. This is despite strict orders on social distancing by both the Central and Karnataka governments.
Crowds at Russel Market have been literally uncontrollable, and complaints had poured in from concerned citizens.
Under these circumstances, BBMP has ordered closure of all shops there till April 14.
