BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Visit Bengaluru on May 23: B.Y. Vijayendra
Bengaluru, May 21: BJP Karnataka president and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra on Wednesday announced that newly appointed BJP national president Nitin Nabin will visit Karnataka on May 23 as part of his first visit to the state after assuming office.
Addressing the media at the BJP state headquarters Jagannath Bhavan in Bengaluru, Vijayendra said Nitin Nabin will participate in multiple organisational meetings and party programmes during the visit.
Nitin Nabin to Attend BJP Training Camp
Vijayendra said the BJP national president will participate in the Bengaluru North district training camp on May 24.
A meeting involving BJP MPs, MLAs and Legislative Council members has also been scheduled during the visit.
He stated that discussions would be held regarding:
- organisational strengthening
- political developments in Karnataka
- upcoming party activities in the state
BJP to Mark PM Modi Completing 12 Years
Vijayendra said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to complete 12 years in office, describing it as a historic milestone.
To mark the occasion, BJP will organise several activities and public outreach programmes across Karnataka.
He said the party would also observe:
- World Environment Day
- International Yoga Day
and hold consultations with senior party leaders regarding future political strategies and public programmes.
BJP Assures Support to Farmers
Responding to a question regarding the proposed Bidadi township project, Vijayendra said BJP would not allow farmers who lost land for the project to suffer.
“We will not allow farmers who lost land for the Bidadi township project to be pushed to the streets,” he said.
