South Western Railway Revises Timings of Kanyakumari–KSR Bengaluru Express From May 26

Bengaluru, May 21: South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a revision in the timings of Train No. 16525 Kanyakumari–KSR Bengaluru Express due to operational constraints.
According to an official press release issued by South Western Railway, the revised timings will come into effect from Journey Commencing On (JCO) May 26, 2026, from Kanyakumari.

Railway authorities clarified that there will be no change in the schedule between Kanyakumari and Tirupattur stations. However, timings at several stations after Tirupattur have been revised.

- Kuppam: Revised to 04:28 hrs arrival / 04:30 hrs departure
(Earlier: 03:54 hrs / 03:55 hrs) - Bangarapet: Revised to 05:07 hrs arrival / 05:09 hrs departure
(Earlier: 04:19 hrs / 04:21 hrs) - Malur: Revised to 05:29 hrs arrival / 05:30 hrs departure
(Earlier: 04:41 hrs / 04:42 hrs) - Whitefield: Revised to 05:59 hrs arrival / 06:01 hrs departure
(Earlier: 04:56 hrs / 04:57 hrs) - Krishnarajapuram: Revised to 06:10 hrs arrival / 06:12 hrs departure
(Earlier: 05:07 hrs / 05:09 hrs) - Bengaluru Cantonment: Revised to 06:29 hrs arrival / 06:31 hrs departure
(Earlier: 05:27 hrs / 05:28 hrs)
South Western Railway stated that the arrival timing at KSR Bengaluru City Railway Station (SBC) will remain unchanged at 07:00 hrs.
Passengers travelling on the route have been advised to take note of the revised schedule and plan their journey accordingly.
