CM Siddaramaiah Felicitates Khelo India Tribal Games Medal Winners at Kaveri Residence
Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday felicitated athletes from Karnataka who won medals at the first-ever Khelo India Tribal Games held in Chhattisgarh. The समारोह was held at his official residence ‘Kaveri’ in Bengaluru.
The athletes were honoured for their outstanding performance in the national-level event, which was held from March 23 to April 3. Karnataka emerged as the overall national champion, securing an impressive tally of 32 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
State Olympic Association President and MLC Govindaraju, along with officials from the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, were present during the felicitation ceremony.
The Chief Minister congratulated the athletes for bringing laurels to the state and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in future competitions.
