BENGALURU:
In an anti-narcotics drive, the Bangalore East Division police have arrested 15 persons, including a Nigerian national.
Acting on a tip-off, the accused were arrested on Saturday night, DCP SD Sharanappa said.

The accused operated through Whatsapp groups and made doorstep deliveries during the lockdown. Among their clients were students.
The Nigerian national was arrested in the Banaswadi station limits and 5 grams of MDMA was recovered from him.
Another accused, Anand, was arrested by the Hennur police and 600 grams of marijuana was seized. One kg of marijuana was confiscated from one Syed Nazim by the KJ Halli police.
A group of people holding a marijuana party in a hotel room were also arrested.
Drug peddlers in police net
Meanwhile, in a special drive by the South Division police over the past week, six drug peddlers have been arrested, 1 kg of marijuana seized, and 19 cases registered.
The police stations involved in the drive were Talghattapura, Jayanagar, Konanakunte, Hanumanthanagar, Subramanyapura, KS Layout and Puttenahalli.
The South Division’s initiative has been praised by the Bengaluru City Commissioner of Police and the Additional Commissioner (West).
