Ballari:

After Bengaluru, it is Bellary that is proving a nightmare to the state health department. A total of 275 positive cases were confirmed on Saturday. So far, 6,582 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the district.

According to District Collector SS Nakul, a total of 97 people have died due to Covid-19, including 2 on Saturday.

The good news is that on Saturday alone, 408 people were discharged from hospitals. This indicates that a large number of coronavirus cases are not severe.
