Venkatesh M.V. Transferred as Registrar for Co-operative Societies

Bengaluru, June 7: IAS officer Dr. Venkatesh M.V. (2009 batch) has been transferred and posted as Registrar for Co-operative Societies, Bengaluru.
Before the transfer, he was serving as Secretary to Government in the Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics Department.

The appointment has been made against an existing vacancy and takes immediate effect.
The Registrar for Co-operative Societies oversees Karnataka’s vast cooperative sector, which plays a significant role in agriculture, banking and rural development.
