Cauvery B.B. Appointed Secretary, Urban Development Department
Bengaluru, June 7: IAS officer Cauvery B.B. (2008 batch) has been appointed as Secretary to Government, Urban Development Department (UD and Municipalities).
The officer, who was awaiting posting, has been given the assignment with immediate effect following the transfer of Deepa Cholan.
The Urban Development Department plays a crucial role in overseeing municipal administration, urban planning and infrastructure development across Karnataka’s rapidly growing cities.
The appointment is expected to provide continuity in the implementation of key urban governance initiatives.
