Diplomatic channels between Russia and the United States appear to be at a standstill, as efforts to arrange a phone call between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump remain inconclusive. This was confirmed by Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov on Thursday, via a report from the Interfax news agency.
