Bengaluru/New Delhi: Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya has alleged large-scale irregularities in recruitment by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), claiming that government jobs were being sold for ₹80 lakh.

In a post on X, Surya questioned the State government over the alleged irregularities and asked whether deserving candidates from poor and working-class families would have any opportunity if recruitment was influenced by money.

— Tejasvi Surya (@Tejasvi_Surya) July 28, 2026

He claimed that merely suspending the KPSC Chairman would not be sufficient to address the alleged scam and questioned whether only wealthy candidates would benefit from the recruitment process.

Surya also urged the State government not to play with the future of lakhs of unemployed youth and their families.

The allegations were made by the MP in a post on X. There was no immediate response from the Karnataka government in the post.
