Sandalwood actor ‘Rockstar’ Rohit

As Sandalwood actor ‘Rockstar’ Rohit celebrated his birthday on June 19, his team revealed the title of his next film – ‘Rowdy Fello’ — as a birthday gift to the ‘Karvva’ and ‘Buckassura’ star.
‘Rowdy Fello’ shows Rohit in an ‘angry man’ avatar. He will be donning the director’s hat for the first time, while the story has got the green signal from ‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neel.
The RJ-turned-actor was last seen in Dayal’s ‘Thrayambakam’, a mythological thriller, followed by a special role in ‘Rustum‘ starring Shivarajkumar. He was widely praised for his ‘tough cop’ role in the movie.
For his next film, the cinematographer is Lavith Kumar of national award-winning movie ‘Ondalla Eradalla’ and ‘Rama Rama Re’ fame, Nakul Abyankar provides the songs and the music is scored by Ravi Basrur. The movie is bankrolled by Swarnalatha Productions of ‘6-5=2’, ‘Karvva’ and recent hit ‘Dia’, in association with Padmaavathi Pictures.
Actress Vidhya Pradeep has been roped in to play the female lead, while yesteryear actress Oorvashi will be playing the ‘mother’ role. The team is yet to zero in on another lead character and will shoot once the lockdown is eased.
