HASSAN: A police constable died on the spot after a lorry collided with his motorcycle near Kenchanhalli on the outskirts of Hassan on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Prakash (38).
Prakash, attached to the 11th Karnataka State Reserve Police battalion, was travelling from Hassan city to Gadenahalli on official duty when the accident occurred.
The impact of the crash was such that Prakash died instantly. Police visited the place and and registered a case. Further investigation is under way.
