ADGP Bhaskar Rao files protest petition against CBI closure report in phone tapping case
BENGALURU:
The Covid-positive results of 5 of the accused in the riotous happenings at Padarayanapura have sent shock waves through the police department. After the five accused tested positive while in Ramanagara Jail, City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao and other senior cops have submitted themselves for testing.
Bhaskar Rao’s tweet from his personal account @deepolice12 reads: “Sorry, haven’t tweeted for some time as I was a little busy with the Padrayanapura Law & Order problem and fall-out. Quickly contained but very risky and stressful. Lots of us underwent Covid tests …. results awaited!!!!”
Their test reports are expected by Monday evening.
