Karnataka DyCM says no 2nd dose shortage for 45+ group
BENGALURU:
Of the 6,500 staff assigned to BBMP’s West Zone Corona Control Mission, 3,000 absentees have been issued notices, said Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwath Narayan after a review meeting on Friday. The notices were issued by Ujwal Ghosh, Covid Officer of the zone. Of these, 700 have replied to the notice.
Due to a shortage of staff, it is becoming increasingly difficult to collect throat swabs of suspect cases.
Commissioner, College Education Department, P Pradeep, has been asked to recruit additional staff from the Department.
