Amid the easing of some lockdown rules, city police commissioner Bhaskar Rao has warned people not to overspeed on deserted roads. He has urged motorists to maintain a 30 kmph speed limit or else they will be penalised.
On Sunday evening at a presser, Bhaskar Rao said, “The police department will continue to book cases against people who are roaming on the roads without any requirement and their vehicles will be seized. We are requesting motorists to maintain a 30 kmph speed and also adhere to all the traffic rules and regulations with effect from Monday morning.”
