Mysuru Train Faces 110-Minute Regulation, Bengaluru–Sindhanur 90 Minutes as Eight Services Are Delayed Until September 2
Bengaluru: Passengers travelling on eight trains connecting Bengaluru, Mysuru, Sindhanur, Hubballi, Belagavi, Mumbai and Chennai should prepare for en-route regulation ranging from 15 to 110 minutes because of infrastructure work at Tiptur.
South Western Railway said the Sainagar Shirdi–Mysuru Express will face the longest regulation of 110 minutes for its journey commencing on September 2.
The Yesvantpur–Sindhanur Express will be regulated by 90 minutes for journeys commencing from August 27 to September 2.
The KSR Bengaluru–Belagavi Express will be regulated by 50 minutes during the same August 27–September 2 period.
The Yesvantpur–Vijayapur Express will face a 45-minute regulation from August 27 to September 2, while the SMVT Bengaluru–LTT Mumbai Express will be regulated by 45 minutes for journeys commencing from August 29 to September 1.
The KSR Bengaluru–SSS Hubballi Express will be regulated by 15 minutes from August 27 to September 2.
Two Chennai Central–SSS Hubballi services will each be regulated by 30 minutes. Train No. 20679 will be affected for its journey commencing on August 28, while Train No. 22698 will be affected for the journey commencing on August 30.
South Western Railway attributed the changes to ongoing infrastructure work at Tiptur under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi issued the operational update.
Passengers should check the latest running status and official railway advisories before beginning their journeys.
