DAVANAGERE: Unidentified miscreants broke furniture at a government Kannada higher primary school at Kerebilachi in Channagiri taluk on Tuesday night.
The miscreants gained entry by breaking open the doors and smashed tables, desks and chairs. The roof tiles were also damaged and important documents kept in the office were found scattered.
The incident came to light when teachers, students and parents arrived at the school on Wednesday morning. They immediately informed the Santhebennur police who visited the spot and registered a case. The police are now on the lookout for the miscreants.
