Gaurav Gupta orders pothole filling done speedily for the convenience of motorists and walkers

Indicative of the importance being given to pothole-filling work on the city’s roads, including arterial, sub-arterial roads, high-density and ward roads, BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta visited the Pulakeshinagar Bore Bund Road on Wednesday and took stock of the road repairs there.
As per the civic chief’s instructions, pothole filling and road repairs in all 8 BBMP zones have been taken up, and Palike officials have been instructed to finish the work at the earliest for the convenience of vehicles and pedestrians. Gupta has stressed that the area surrounding the pothole should be cleaned before filling the pothole, and priority should be given to roads with a larger number of potholes.
Among those present during the civic chief’s inspection were local MLA Akhanda Srinivasmurthy and Chief Engineer (Roads Infrastructure) Prahallad.
