Karnataka: Senior IAS Officer Anjum Parwez Appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to CM Siddaramaiah
Bengaluru: Anjum Parwez, a distinguished officer from the 1994 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Karnataka.
In addition to this significant role, Parwez will concurrently oversee the responsibilities of Additional Chief Secretary for both the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, as well as the Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department. This dual appointment underscores the government’s commitment to effective governance and sustainable development in the state.
