CHIKKABALAPUR:
State Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar on Wednesday said experts have predicted a surge in Covid-19 cases in India in July, adding that Karnataka is geared for such an occurrence.
Speaking to reporters here, the minister pointed out that in other countries the spike had happened in a couple of months, but there has been no spike in India even after 5 months.
More than 70 labs have been set up in Karnataka, and 4 lakh Covid-19 tests have been done so far, Dr Sudhakar said.
