Karnataka Extends Ration-Card e-KYC Deadline to October 20, Increases Distribution Hours
Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has extended the deadline for completing ration-card e-KYC from September 30 to October 20 and increased the daily ration-distribution period from six hours to eight, the Department of Information and Public Relations said on Tuesday.
In an X post, DIPR Karnataka said the changes were intended to make access to ration supplies easier and reduce inconvenience to the public.

The department said the government’s stated objective was to ensure ration access for every eligible person and relief for every family. The X post did not provide additional procedural instructions for beneficiaries.
