Hoskote MLA Sharath Bachegowda with wife Pratibha

Hoskote MLA Sharath Bachegowda is the latest public representative to be infected by the coronavirus. His wife too has tested positive.
Bachegowda candidly posted on Facebook and Twitter that he and his wife Pratibha Sharath had contracted the virus. Both of them are now self-quarantined.
The post reads: “On Monday, July 6, I had some minor body pain. I and Mrs Pratibha Sarath have been subjected to the Covid-19 test due to constant field work and visits to corona-affected areas. On Wednesday evening, we received a positive report though we do not have any symptoms. On the advice of doctors, we have resorted to home quarantine. I have shared the list of people who have met me in the recent past with the government, and those who are primary contacts have been subjected to quarantine.”

ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ಕೋವಿದ್ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಲು ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
