25 held so far, says CCB’s Sandeep Patil

One of the main accused in the Karnataka Public Service Commission’s FDA exam leak case has been arrested from Belagavi.
The accused has been identified as Shivalinga Patil. The Central Crime Branch’s Joint Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil tweeted, “Continuing the investigation into the FDA question paper leak case, yday CCB arrests one of the main accused from Belagavi…so far 25 accused arrested in this case…”

Shivalinga was reportedly running a ‘competitive coaching centre’. Even though the coaching centre was shut around a year ago, Shivalinga continued to contact persons who were preparing for exams. He allegedly provided the leaked questionnaire through Rachappa, another accused who has already been arrested.
